It feels like I've been waiting for this book for so long and I can't believe it finally reached me! I feel so grateful to be able to review this book early. I honestly didn't know what to expect when going into reading this book - heartbreak, blood, and more heartbreak.

I had so many thoughts about Greta going into this book but her character was something I did not expect at all. I think my favourite part about her was her strong sense of loyalty, especially to her family and eventually Amo. Greta and Nevio's bond was so special and I'm excited to see it explored more in Nevio's book. 

My favourite relationship and character who surprised me were Greta and Serafina. Serafina was so amazing in this book, the amount of love she has for her children is beautiful and she really stood out. I loved all of her appearances and I can't wait to see how she is in Nevio's novel. It was also very good to see Remo again.

I loved also seeing glimpses of Luca and Aria again. Being able to see inside Amo's head after his appearance in Marcella's book was so good and heartbreaking knowing a part of him changed after his sister's kidnapping. I loved being able to see Greta bring him back.

There were some funny moments, some heartbreaking moments that had me in tears, and some truly beautiful moments. The family feels in this novel were amazing and I loved seeing both families explored, and also coming together.

Greta and Amo have to fight to be able to stay together, but can love really be enough when they were doomed from the beginning?
