When going into this novel, I didn't know what to expect - I found myself not reading that much about it until the day I received the ARC and looked at the synopsis. I wanted to go in blind.

I feel like this book was a breath of fresh air, it felt so strange reading about a sunny side cruise holiday whilst living in the deep, cold of winter with Christmas on the horizon - but I think that's what made the experience that much better!

I loved how interesting and different the characters were Nessy was specifically catching, I loved her whole attitude and yet, underneath person. I also loved her whole backstory with Cruz. Both of them were fire from the get-go, it was perfect guy meets badly misunderstood girl - but really their true selves are skin deep.

I always like a toxic small town environment and I think it was portrayed really well here, the whole plot was capturing the entire time and I ended up reading it in a day!
