Honestly, I was not prepared for this book. In so many ways it completely blew me away, the characters, the storyline, the background of it all. There's just something about Rina's stories that always draw me in and leave me wanting to read so much more, they're always so unique and dark, and I love it.

This book was no exception, I didn't know what to think when going into Jonathan's book - I always had a love-hate relationship with him during the course of the Royal Elite series. But here, I really enjoyed his character - on top of that I loved Aurora, she was so strong, badass and her background/family history was so intriguing I can't wait to find out more in the next book.

The heat was top notch in this book, gosh damn was there some super spicy scenes and I loved it. Aurora and Jonathan are a forced to be reckoned with. From the get go - their connection was electric!

I loved being able to see characters from the previous series - especially lots of Aiden, Elsa, Levi and Astrid it was interesting seeing their reactions and I can't wait to read about them more in the next book!

That cliffhanger though was so cruel! I want the next book already I can't wait anymore! Rina sure knows how to leave us hanging!
