Arc in exchange for an honest review.

I enjoyed this book it was mafia and focuses on Amara a girl having to live and serve a Mafia boss in exchange for her fathers debt. It had a Beauty and the Beast esque to it.

The characters were good, however I spent the entire book not finding Amara brave but incredibly stupid. She didn't know when to pick her battles and was constantly fighting back and shouting. Girl they're incredibly dangerous and they could kill your father, learn to be smart. It was so frustrating. She did get better once the book progressed, I like the scene where she saves him.

I like Enzo's character and how he was trying to find retribution for his mother.

The plot was also very good and their relationship was cute, the fact that Enzo from the beginning was captivated by Amara. Man Enzo's men were so messed up!

I was so shocked by those ending scenes I did not expect the twist at all. I didn't even realise it was a duet, for goodness sake now I have to wait lol!

This is not for the feint of heart, I feel that's why I enjoyed it so much!
