CARTER REED 2 BY TIJAN

Carter's POV was so much better in this book, it was really obvious that it was his voice and it felt less clunky now being in the 1st person, so that was a lot better to the first.

I just feel that sometimes a book doesn't need a second one, I feel I had exhausted reading about Emma and Carter's relationship it just seemed the same. They love, they protect, they get in trouble etc.

Emma was once again a badass, but did annoy me a lot when she kept trying to get involved - sometimes it's safer to hang back, instead of putting Carter in danger by him worrying about you in the line of fire. That really made me go, FOR GOODNESS SAKE AGAIN. I loved the introduction of Cole and seeing how he was initiated and I loved seeing more of his relationship to Carter.

Don't get me wrong I still really loved this book - especially because of Cole - and that shock twist in the end made me say finally this little prick is dirty. So that last scene was very good. I'm glad there isn't going to be a 3rd book. I'm ready to say goodbye to Emma and Carter and read some new characters!

I did really love these two books though, they were really entertaining and the relationships were amazing.
